Le Camelia, is a Maison d'Maitre built in the late 1890's. Two minutes walk from Maubourguet town centre yet leaving by the side gate two minutes walk brings you into beautiful walking/hiking/cycling country. Make the most of the beautiful weather in this area by exploring on foot, by bike or horseback.
At the tip of the Hautes-Pyrénées and 10 minutes drive from the Gers, famous for the Marciac jazz festival or Madiran and Viellha, both celebrated wine producing areas with a wine festival each August (Bouscasse, Pacherenc, etc.,). Le Camelia has both self catering accommodation and B&B. We also offer an evening meal and can provide food for picnics on request.
Take a break in the quiet lounge stocked with english books, make the most of the local countryside by visiting a few vinyards or exploring the history then return to Le Camelia to relax before the evening starts. If you like to keep fit spend some time in the gym or practicse yoga in our dedicated yoga space.
Maubourguet is known locally for culture and Rugby. The town has a whole host of sporting facilities such as the tennis courts, bull ring for the Course Landaise and Novillados, Cultural Centre, Football and Rugby grounds, running tracks, outdoor swimming pool and boules pitch.
